X-LAB GT8 Carbon Gravel Frameset | Afterburner Black | XS–XXL
X-LAB GT8 Carbon Gravel Frameset | Afterburner Black
Build the GT8 exactly the way you want it.
The X-LAB GT8 Carbon Gravel Frameset gives riders the foundation of X-LAB's highly versatile GT8 without locking you into a predetermined drivetrain, wheelset, cockpit, or component package. Built from Toray T-800 carbon fiber, the GT8 combines modern gravel race performance with substantial tire clearance, integrated storage, adventure-ready mounting options, and geometry designed to remain capable when the route gets rough.
This is an excellent starting point for a custom gravel race bike, all-road machine, high-performance adventure build, or premium component transfer. With clearance for tires up to 55mm, the GT8 can be configured around fast gravel tires for racing or considerably larger rubber for technical gravel, rough roads, and long-distance riding.
The frame is UDH compatible and supports both 1x and 2x drivetrain configurations, giving builders considerable freedom when choosing Shimano, SRAM, mechanical, or electronic drivetrain components.

55mm Tire Clearance Changes What a Gravel Bike Can Do
The GT8 offers clearance for tires up to 55C, giving builders an unusually broad range of setup possibilities. Run a lighter, faster gravel tire for racing and fast group rides, or move to a larger-volume tire when traction, comfort, and rough-terrain capability become the priority.
That versatility makes the GT8 particularly appealing to riders who don't want a gravel bike limited to one type of riding.
Internal Downtube Storage
An integrated storage compartment inside the downtube provides space for compact ride essentials without requiring an external saddle bag. It's an especially useful feature for carrying items such as a tube, tire repair supplies, inflator, or small tools while maintaining a clean bike setup.
Build It 1x or 2x
The GT8 is designed to support both 1x and 2x drivetrain configurations. The framesets offered by Go Grava include the appropriate front derailleur mount, making the platform suitable for riders who prefer a traditional double-chainring gravel drivetrain as well as those building a wide-range 1x system.
X-LAB specifies maximum front chainring compatibility of up to 44T for Shimano 1x, 42T for SRAM 1x, and up to 48/31T for 2x configurations.
UDH Compatible
The GT8 uses the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard. In addition to making replacement hangers easier to source, UDH compatibility gives builders access to a broad range of modern drivetrain configurations.

Before You Buy
- This product is a frameset and is not a complete bicycle.
- The frameset does not include a stem or handlebar.
- A drivetrain, crankset, bottom bracket, brakes, wheels, tires, cockpit components, saddle, and additional build components must be purchased separately unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- The supplied custom spacers are intended to support the GT8 internal-routing system, but the appropriate compatible cockpit components are still required.
- Confirm drivetrain, bottom bracket, brake, wheel, cockpit, and routing compatibility before purchasing components for a custom build.
- Maximum tire clearance can vary with actual tire width, rim internal width, tire manufacturer, and required mud clearance.
- Professional bicycle assembly is strongly recommended for a complete frameset build.
The X-LAB GT8 Carbon Gravel Frameset is an exceptional foundation for riders who know exactly how they want their gravel bike built. With Toray T-800 carbon construction, 55mm tire clearance, integrated storage, UDH compatibility, 1x and 2x drivetrain support, and six frame sizes, the GT8 provides the versatility to create anything from a fast gravel race machine to a highly capable all-day adventure bike.
