Stan’s Original Tubeless Tire Sealant helped launch the modern tubeless tire revolution. This thin, low-viscosity latex sealant coats the inside of the tire and quickly seals punctures while you ride so you can keep moving instead of stopping for a flat repair.

Designed for tubeless tires but also compatible with inner tubes, Stan’s sealant can repair punctures up to 1/4 inch. The formula remains liquid inside the tire for months and performs in temperatures as low as -30°F.

Available in multiple bottle sizes so riders can choose the right amount for maintenance, new tubeless setups, or shop service work.

Service & Ownership Notes

Tubeless systems require periodic sealant refresh because the liquid gradually dries over time. Most riders check sealant levels every 3–6 months depending on riding conditions and climate.

Sealant is especially beneficial for gravel, mountain, and commuter bikes where thorns, debris, and sharp rocks can cause frequent punctures.

Stan's is the sealant that basically started modern tubeless systems. Lower viscosity spreads quickly and seals small punctures very fast. Most riders should refresh sealant every 3-6 months depending on riding conditions. Common add-on when selling tubeless tires or doing wheel installs.
