Service / Ownership Context

This is a race-oriented gravel tire. Expect excellent speed and grip, with lighter casing feel compared to endurance tires. Tubeless setup is strongly recommended for best performance and puncture resistance.

Fit & Use Signals

  • Good Fit: Gravel racers, fast endurance riders, mixed-surface routes, and cyclocross-style terrain.
  • Not A Fit: Loaded touring, sharp-rock desert riding, or riders prioritizing maximum puncture protection over speed.
This is Vittoria’s fast gravel race tire. Light casing, quick rolling, but not a tank. Directional tread matters — mount correctly or cornering will feel weird. 45mm measures true on modern wide rims. Always check frame clearance first, especially older gravel bikes. Tubeless is basically mandatory here. These ride best around 22–32 PSI depending on rider weight. Too much pressure kills grip and comfort. Eco Race casing feels supple but won’t survive endless sharp rocks or heavy bikepacking. Sidewalls are reinforced, but this is still a race tire. Riders love the speed and predictable cornering. Complaints usually come from people expecting Marathon-level durability. Zylon bead mounts pretty easily compared to older Vittoria gravel tires. Still recommend compressor for first seat. Failure points: sidewall cuts on chunky terrain, faster tread wear if ridden a lot on pavement. Who this is really for: gravel racers and fast mixed-surface riders. Who should avoid: commuters, expedition bikepackers, or anyone riding glass-strewn city streets daily. Mechanic advice: run tubeless with fresh sealant, respect direction arrows, and don’t oversize pressure. If rider wants more durability, move them to Terreno Endurance instead.
