Think of tube fit as two separate checks: the tube must fit the tire, and the valve must reach through the rim. The 700 × 18–32 mm marking identifies the wheel size and supported tire widths. The 85 mm measurement describes the valve stem, not the tire size. On a deeper rim, that longer stem helps leave enough valve exposed for a pump head to grip. Check your rim depth and pump-head clearance before choosing a valve length.

TPU stands for thermoplastic polyurethane. Its practical appeal is a small packed size and low weight: it takes up less room in your repair kit than a conventional butyl spare. WTB lists this specific version at 39 g. A spare still needs to match your tire; a compact tube that is too narrow for your tire is the wrong spare.

Before you buy

• Read the size on your tire sidewall. This version covers 18–32 mm tire widths; choose a wider tube for tires outside that range.
• Check that your wheel uses a Presta valve opening and that the 85 mm stem leaves room for your pump head.
• The valve core is not removable. Do not plan to replace the core or use an accessory that requires removing it.
• Follow the supplied WTB installation and patch instructions. Check WTB's current guidance for your brake system and any inflator or sealant you intend to use.

Common questions

Will this fit a 700 × 28 mm or 700 × 32 mm tire?
Both labeled widths fall within its 18–32 mm range. Check valve and wheel compatibility as well.

Will it fit a 700 × 40 mm gravel tire?
No. A 40 mm tire is outside this version's stated range.

Does an 85 mm valve mean it fits an 85 mm-deep rim?
No. Some of the stem must extend beyond the rim for inflation. Match the valve to the rim depth and the clearance your pump requires.

Can I patch it?
WTB includes TPU-specific patches. Use the supplied instructions and repair materials approved for TPU.
