WTB Nano 700 × 40 TCS Light Fast Rolling SG2 Gravel Tire
The WTB Nano 700 × 40 TCS Light Fast Rolling SG2 combines a fast center tread with small knobs for grip on gravel and hardpack. It is a practical choice for riders who connect paved stretches with unpaved roads and want extra casing protection.
How it rides
The firmer center rubber helps the tire roll efficiently and resist wear. Softer shoulder rubber adds grip as you lean into corners. WTB’s Dual DNA compound puts those different rubber properties where they are useful.
The 120 TPI casing is paired with SG2 protection from bead to bead, covering the tread and sidewalls. Protection reduces vulnerability to punctures; it does not make the tire puncture-proof.
Fit and setup
- Size: 700 × 40 mm; ISO 40-622.
- Construction: TCS tubeless-compatible folding bead, Light / Fast Rolling, Dual DNA and SG2.
- Color: black tread and black sidewall; non-reflective.
- Casing: 120 TPI.
- Pressure: JBI lists 65 PSI. Follow the limits marked on your tire and rim, using the lower limit.
This tire fits a compatible 622 mm rim, but your frame and fork must also have room for its width. A tubeless setup needs a compatible rim, tape, valve and sealant. Check rim-width compatibility and clearance before installation; the 700c label alone does not guarantee fit.
