This Wolf Tooth Ultralight stem cap combines a standard top cap with a fixed 5mm spacer. It’s designed for bikes with carbon steerers that require the steerer tube to extend above the stem for proper clamping and load distribution.

It simplifies cockpit setups by eliminating the need for a separate spacer above the stem while keeping headset preload and stem height correct.

Service / Ownership Context
This cap sets preload only—it does not anchor inside the steerer. Proper installation still depends on a correctly installed compression plug at the right depth. It’s commonly used during stem swaps or when dialing in final stack height on carbon forks.
