Fit & Use Signals

  • Good Fit: Your bike uses 27 x 1-1/4 tires.
  • Good Fit: Your rim diameter is ISO 630.
  • Good Fit: Vintage road bikes and classic 10-speeds.
  • Not A Fit: 700c road bikes (ISO 622).
  • Not A Fit: Gravel or off-road riding.
  • Not A Fit: Tubeless road wheel systems.
Biggest confusion is customers mixing up 27" with 700c. They are NOT the same size. 27" = ISO 630 700c = ISO 622 If someone tries to mount this on a 700c rim it will be too big. Typical customers are restoring old Schwinn, Raleigh, Peugeot, Fuji, etc. Durable budget tire. Nothing fancy but works well for getting an old bike rolling again. If someone is rebuilding a bike for heavier riding we sometimes recommend converting the bike to 700c wheels instead.
