What the fit measurements mean
The 18 mm and 40 mm measurements refer to the spacing between the frame's kickstand mounting holes, measured center to center. This mounting design accommodates either spacing. The adjustable leg length lets you set the bike's lean when parked; it does not eliminate the need for the correct frame mount.

Before installation
Check that your frame has a rear kickstand fitting, measure the hole spacing, and confirm clearance around the chainstay and moving parts. Set the leg length for a stable parked lean and check that the stand folds clear before riding.
Common questions
Does “universal” mean it fits any bicycle? It supports the two listed direct-mount spacings. A frame without a compatible mounting tab is not a direct fit.
Is it a center-mount kickstand? No. It attaches at the rear kickstand mount.
Will it fit a 24-inch bike? This model is listed for 26–29-inch wheels. Choose a model explicitly suited to a 24-inch wheel instead.
