SRAM Force 22 Right 11-Speed Mechanical Shift / Brake Lever
The SRAM Force 22 right-hand DoubleTap shift/brake lever combines 11-speed mechanical rear shifting with cable-operated braking. It is the mechanical brake version, not a hydraulic HRD lever.
How it works
A single DoubleTap shift paddle handles upshifts and downshifts through a shift cable. The separate brake lever pulls a brake cable. There is no hydraulic hose connection or hydraulic master cylinder in this control.
Fit and compatibility
- Position: right-hand control for rear derailleur shifting.
- Shifting: 11-speed SRAM road Exact Actuation mechanical rear derailleur compatibility.
- Braking: cable-operated road braking for a compatible mechanical rim-brake setup; not a replacement for a SRAM HRD hydraulic control.
- Controls: DoubleTap shifting with independent reach adjustment for the brake and shift levers.
- Materials: carbon brake lever and aluminum shift lever.
Match both the derailleur’s cable-pull system and the brake’s required cable pull before fitting. This is a cable-shift control, not an electronic eTap or AXS shifter.
