ODI Vanquish Lock-On Grips – D3O GRIP Compound – Black/Graphite (Pair)
The ODI Vanquish Lock-On Grips are comfort-focused mountain bike grips developed in collaboration with D3O to reduce vibration and hand fatigue without sacrificing control. They’re engineered to absorb shock at the grip interface so less vibration reaches your hands on long or rough rides.
Unlike standard rubber grips, the Vanquish uses D3O GRIP material and a progressive, multi-layer grip pattern to damp impacts while maintaining a connected feel to the bar. The lock-on design keeps installation simple and prevents grip movement under hard riding.
Key Features
-
D3O GRIP compound lab-tested to reduce vibration more effectively than standard compounds

Progressive multi-layer grip pattern to further absorb shock and vibration
-
Waffle-pattern transition with convex traction pads for comfort without excessive grip pressure
-
v2.1 Lock-On System with a single clamp per grip for easy installation
-
Small inside flange for hand protection without interfering with shifters or brake levers
-
Double-reinforced grip ends with 360° TPE protection to help prevent grip and bar damage
Compatibility & Use Notes
-
Designed for standard mountain bike handlebars
-
Lock-on design using ODI v2.1 single-clamp system
-
Compatible with most MTB brake and shifter configurations
-
Includes integrated grip end protection
-
Not compatible with twist shifters
Service / Ownership Context
Lock-on grips should be installed on clean handlebars and tightened evenly to the recommended torque. The reinforced ends help extend grip life, but grips should still be inspected periodically for wear, especially if riding aggressively or frequently without gloves.
Fit & Use Signals
-
Chosen to reduce hand fatigue and vibration on long or rough rides
-
Good fit for trail, all-mountain, and endurance MTB riding
-
Useful when standard rubber grips transmit too much shock
-
Appropriate for riders who want comfort without oversized grip diameter
-
Not intended for road or drop-bar applications
