The Maxxis Dissector 29 × 2.6 is a fast, aggressive trail tire designed to minimize drag while maintaining strong cornering control, making it an excellent choice for modern trail and enduro riding.

Developed in collaboration with Australian downhill racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector features a rounded tread profilewith large, siped knobs that generate impressive traction without excessive rolling resistance. This balance allows the tire to carry speed efficiently while remaining predictable and controlled through corners and technical sections.

The tire uses 3C MaxxTerra (TERRA) rubber, offering a middle ground between MaxxSpeed and MaxxGrip—providing enhanced traction and damping while maintaining better tread life and lower rolling resistance than ultra-soft downhill compounds.

Durability is enhanced by EXO+ protection, which combines EXO sidewall reinforcement with a butyl bead insert to improve pinch-flat resistance and rim protection—ideal for aggressive riding and lower pressures. The Wide Trail (WT) casing is optimized for rims with 35 mm internal width or greater, ensuring proper tire shape and consistent handling. The Dissector is tubeless ready and requires sealant for use.
