Service / Ownership Context

These bearings are press-fit into the hub shell. Proper bearing removal and installation tools are required. Replace bearings when rough, gritty, or loose. Many rear hubs use multiple bearings — replacing all at once is recommended for balanced wear.

Fit & Use Signals

  • Good Fit: Your DT Swiss hub calls for a 15×28×7 mm (6902) bearing.
  • Good Fit: You are servicing a 2021+ DT Swiss 350 hub.
  • Good Fit: You confirmed the bearing number stamped on the original unit reads 6902.
  • Not A Fit: Your hub requires 6904 (20×37×9) or 6803 (17×26×5).
  • Not A Fit: You expect a complete hub or bearing kit — this is a single bearing.
  • Not A Fit: You are unsure of your hub’s bearing size.
6902 is one of the most common DT Swiss hub bearings. Seen frequently in rear hubs and 2021+ 350 hubs front and rear. Common mistake: buyers assume all 350 hubs use the same bearing everywhere. They don’t. Check position (drive side, non-drive, freehub body). Always measure old bearing or read the stamp on seal before ordering. Replace in pairs at minimum. Rear hubs often use 2–4 bearings depending on configuration. Install with proper press tool contacting outer race only. Hammer installs damage seals. If someone rides wet conditions regularly, these will wear faster than hub shell. This SKU = one bearing only.
