The Orbit Velo is a battery-powered bicycle tracking device designed to work exclusively with Apple’s Find My network. It allows location tracking through the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or the Find Items app on Apple Watch, without requiring a separate data plan.
The tracker mounts at standard bottle cage bosses using included security bolts. It can also be installed using the supplied double-sided adhesive or zip ties, with the option to mount a bottle cage over the unit for added concealment and security. Power is supplied by two replaceable CR2032 batteries, with an estimated battery life of up to three years depending on usage.
Location data and history are handled within Apple’s Find My ecosystem and are not stored on the Orbit device itself. The tracker is compatible with devices running iOS 14.3 or newer and is not supported on Android platforms.
